Murud Janjira (Fort) - shares the reputation of being the Western coastline’s invincible island fort. Believed to be one of India's strongest forts. The fort was brought into inception by the Siddhis and remained undefeated. It is so tactically constructed that it has only one spot where a boat can come in. The fort has rusting cannons, palaces now in ruins, water tanks, a mosque and beautifully sculpted gates and walls.
Kashid Beach is one of the best beaches along the Konkan belt on the west coast of India. It has overwhelming beaches boasting of clear deep blue sea water and shimmering white sand. The town has breathtaking locales with hills, sprawling green cover, and paddy crop fields. It is a surfer's dream destination with waves as high as five to six feet offering a wonderful opportunity for sea surfing.
Khanderi Fort and Undheri Forts are both island forts with access to them from the Thai beach, separated by a distance of 300 meters. One needs to take permission from the Bombay port trust to take a boat to reach the fort.
Korlai fort, also called Castle Curlew, is a Portuguese fort in Korlai, a small village in Maharashtra. The ruins are maintained well and are interesting. The climb is not very grueling as it is situated on a fairly small hill. The view from the fort is superb as it is covered by sea on three sides. It’s an amazing spot to see the sun drown into the sea.
Vikram Vinayak temple perched on a small hillock, tucked amidst beautiful gardens with fountains. The magnificent dome is built in white granite and it is home to idols of Lord Shiva with Parvati, Lord Krishna with Radha, Surya Dev, and Goddess Durga.
Revdanda Beach (17 kms) is picturesque with towering coconut trees, betel nut trees, and green waterlogged rice fields. Revdanda is famous for the sweet-smelling "bakuli" flower. The town has three main temples: Lord Datta Mandir, Rameshwar Mandir, and Shitala Devi Mandir. There is also an isolated black sand beach nearby.

Creation of these caves started approximately in the 3rd century AD when influential merchants spread Buddha's teachings in India. Many large temples appeared near ancient trade routes. Panhale Kaji was one such temple complex, located on a busy route from inland to Dabhol, an important port city on the Arabian Sea.
